Why use a nickname instead of the company name?

So that we can handle the entire communication and service process centrally via our platform, we would like all manufacturers to appear on our marketplace with a neutral store nickname rather than their real company name.

This is how we make sure:

• Other sellers cannot see which company is behind which store and what prices are offered.
• Your own customers don’t realize that your products may be cheaper on our marketplace than on your own website.
• Customer support is provided exclusively by us.
• Sensitive contact data remains protected.
• We are the central point of contact for all inquiries.

What should a suitable nickname look like?

The store nickname reflects your product world, is neutral and suitable for the marketplace. It does not contain or refer to your company name, website or contact details.

Rules for choosing a name:

✅ The nickname must not resemble or allude to your company name.
✅ Do not use domain names, e-mail addresses or telephone numbers.
✅ No real names or abbreviations of the company name.
✅ The name should be short, memorable and thematically relevant to your products.

Tell us your desired nickname either directly when you register or before your first product is released. We check every name before publication and reserve the right to reject unsuitable suggestions or propose alternatives.
