Variants & prices
In this step, you define the properties and variants of your product – for example, different sizes, materials or colors.
Create & price variants – attributes, variants & price scaling
With the variant configurator, you can create all versions of a packaging product (e.g. color, paper type, product sizes in mm) and then maintain price scales and other details.
1. open area
- Open Packlando Academy.
- Go to Products in the vendor dashboard.
- Open the Attribute and variants section.
2. select product properties (attributes)
- User-defined attribute” field → Enter name → “Add attribute”.
- Possible attributes:
- Colors: white, 1/2/3/4-color CMYK, black
- Paper type: glossy paper, grass paper, metallic paper, uncoated paper, parchment paper, recycled paper, textured paper, white paper, kraft paper
- Surface, closure, viewing window, food contact, etc.
3. create product sizes
- Enter dimensions: Length (mm) – Width (mm) – Height (mm)
- Standardized in L×W×H format, e.g.
120×120×60 mm
- Click “Save and create product”
4. define standard variant
- Color: select desired color
- Paper type: e.g. white paper or kraft paper
- Size: e.g. 120 – 120 – 60 mm
5. create & edit variants
- Click on “Generate/create variants”
- Combinations are formed automatically from color × paper type × size
- Each variant contains:
- Activate checkbox
- Variant image
- SKU
- Size values
- Selection fields for color & paper type
6. define prices
- Manufacturer’s price (net, without commission): Your price to Packlando
- Marketplace price (incl. commission): Selling price in the store (calculated automatically, can be adjusted)
- Discount prices: optional for promotions
7. create price scale
Enter the following details per quantity under “Graduated pricing”:
- Quantity (from quantity)
- Dealer price (net)
- Unit price (net)
- Number of boxes
- Number of pallets
- Pallet height (cm)
- Production time (days)

8. add packaging data
- Weight per carton (kg)
- Carton dimensions (L×W×H in cm)
- Important for shipping costs, logistics planning & pallet calculation
9. description of variants
Briefly describe what makes this variant special (e.g. size, material, color, intended use).
10. save
- Top “Save product”
- Below “Save variants”
Only then will all entries be accepted.
